Festschrift Felix UNGER 80
This programmatic Festschrift constitutes a scholarly tribute presented by the Presidium and the Senate to the Founder, President, and present Honorary President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (EASA), Professor emeritus Dr Dr h.c. mult. Felix Unger, on the occasion
of his 80th birthday in 2026. Conceived as a document of its time, it honours his life and achievements in cardiac surgery as well as his life’s work, the EASA. Its culminating focus is
formed by his reflections on a European Federation as a realistic utopia for the further development of Europe on the foundation of shared values.
