AWARDING of the HONORARY DOCTORATE to EASA President Klaus Mainzer
Professor Dr. Klaus Mainzer, President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, was awarded an honorary doctorate for outstanding achievements in philosophy and science and essential academic and organizational contributions to the development of Alma Mater Europaea – ECM at a special ceremony during the plenary session of the 12th International Conference-It's About People in Maribor. Prof. Dr. Ludvik Toplak, Founder and President of the European Centre Maribor, Vice-Rector of the University Alma Mater Europaea presented the honorary doctorate to President Mainzer in a festive ceremony at the European Centre Maribor.
Laudatory speeches were given by Prof. Dr. Marko Robnik, Member EASA, Class IV, Founder and Director CAMTP, and Prof. Dr. Lenart Škof, EASA Member, Class VII, Dean of Alma Mater Europaea Institutum Studiorum Humanitatis and Prof. Dr.Dr.h.c. Felix Unger, Honorary President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, who in his speech particularly emphasised Prof. Mainzer's interdisciplinary work for the European Academy of Sciences and Arts.
