Our member Emmanuelle Charpentier receives the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2020

The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2020 was awarded to the biochemist and microbiologist Emmanuelle Charpentier who is a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts since 2018. Charpentier receives the Prize for the development of a method for genome editing and is honored together with the biochemist and molecular biologist Jennifer Doudna.
