10th Danube Academies Conference
The Czech Academy of Sciences in cooperation with the European Academy of Sciences and Arts organised the 10th Danube Academies Conference which was held in Prague on 30/31 October in Prague under the patronage of Dr. Tomáš Petříček, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. Whereas the first day dealt with Science Diplomacy and its role in adressing global challenges, the second day was dedicated to European research infrastructures including an on-site visit to ELI Beamlines - the International Laser Research Centre in Dolni Brezany.
The organiseres welcomed around 80 guests, among them representatives of national Academies, different research centres, European institutions as well as ministries and embassies in the Czech Republic.
