Publication of War in the Name of Peace in Paris – Professor Bostjan Marko Turk, Dean of EASA Class I
Professor Bostjan Marko Turk, Dean of Class I (Humanities), visited Paris on the occasion of the publication of the French edition of his book on Western civilization, La Guerre au nom de la Paix.
The book has previously been published in Slovenian, Croatian, Ukrainian, and English, the latter by Arktos in London. A Polish edition is scheduled for publication in 2027.
During his stay in Paris, Bostjan Marko Turk presented the book to two distinguished members of the Académie française: Professor Michel Zink, one of France’s leading medievalists, and Professor Jean-Luc Marion, one of the most prominent contemporary French philosophers.
Their discussions also focused on possible cooperation within EASA Class I (Humanities), particularly on the philosophical relationship between science and faith.
