Peter Markowich, Class IV, elected as a Foreign Member of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei

Professor Peter Markowich has been elected as a Foreign Member of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, one of the oldest and most prestigious scientific academies in the world.

Prof. Markowich is an internationally recognized applied mathematician, known for his contributions to partial differential equations and their applications across physics, biology, and engineering.

He has held professorships at leading institutions including the University of Vienna, the University of Cambridge, and is currently Distinguished Professor at KAUST.
