AWARDING of the Humboldt Research Award to Professor Alberto Guadagnini (Class IV)
Professor Alberto Guadagnini has been awarded the Humboldt Research Award, a prestigious honor granted by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (@HumboldtFoundation) to researchers worldwide for their outstanding scientific achievements. The Humboldt Research Award is granted to internationally leading scholars in recognition of their lifetime contributions to research.

Prof. Guadagnini’s research focuses on groundwater hydrology, with emphasis on uncertainty quantification and modeling of subsurface processes. As the awardee, he will carry out research projects in collaboration with colleagues in his field in Germany, further strengthening international scientific cooperation and advancing research in hydrogeology and water resources management.
