AWARDING of honorary professorships by Xian'Jiatong University and Soochow University in Suzhou to EASA President Klaus Mainzer

During a 14-day lecture tour of renowned Chinese universities in mid-October 2025, EASA President Prof. Dr. DDr. h.c. Klaus Mainzer was awarded the title of ‘Honorary Professor’ at Xi'ang University in Shanghai, the ancient imperial city of China,

and the title of ‘Honorary Professor’ as well at Soochow University, one of the oldest Chinese universities with a long Confucian tradition.

At Soochow University as a part of the ceremony, President Mainzer gave a a lecture followed by a reception at the Faculty for Computer Science hosted by the President of Soochow University, Prof. Zhang Qiao:
