AWARDING of a HONORARY PROFESSORSHIP to President Klaus Mainzer at Soochow University in Suzhou, China
President Klaus Mainzer is currently on a lecture tour through China from 11 to 22 October at the invitation of several renowned Chinese universities.
The lecture series begins with his plenary lecture, Future of AI in Science and Engineering: From Foundations of Computing to Emerging Technologies, at DACOMA-25, the 5th International Conference on Data-Driven Computing and Machine Learning in Engineering at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Further lectures will take place at China Medical University in Shenyang, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and Tongji University.
A special highlight of the trip will be the awarding of an honorary professorship by Soochow University in Suzhou on 16 October, followed by a lecture and reception hosted by the President of Soochow University. His business trip to China will conclude with a lecture and panel discussion as part of the NIL Conference at Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), which will be held in Shanghai from 19 to 25 October.
