Dean of Class I – Humanities, Prof. Dr. Boštjan Marko Turk, Awarded Grand Golden Plaque for Scholarly Contributions to Croatian National Identity and Historical Understanding


Prof. Dr. Boštjan Marko Turk, has received the Grand Golden Plaque awarded by the Association of the Homeland War. This award is given once a year to an individual who has, in one way or another, contributed the most to the Republic of Croatia. Professor Boštjan Marko Turk received it for his intellectual contribution to the understanding of key chapters of recent history and contemporary issues. For example, Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović has also received this award. The plaque was presented in the presence of Croatian ministries and with greetings from the Croatian state leadership. On this occasion, Boštjan Marko Turk also gave a lecture in Zagreb on the relations between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Croatia, as well as on the value foundations of the independence of both countries.
