Honorary doctorate to Prof. Dr.Dr.h.c.mult.Klaus Mainzer

EASA President Prof. Dr Dr h.c. mult. Klaus Mainzer, was awarded an honorary doctorate from Dimitrie Cantemir Christian University in Bucharest in a ceremony on 15 April 2025. The University Senate thus honoured his outstanding scientific life's work in the fields of philosophy, complexity research and artificial intelligence as well as his long-standing commitment to international scientific dialogue.

On the occasion of the awarding of the honorary title, Prof. Mainzer gave a lecture on the challenges of the age of artificial intelligence in a lectio magistralis entitled ‘Challenges of a Complex and Chaotic World in the Age of Artificial Intelligence’.
