ELECTION of a new Presidium

The Annual General Assembly elected the new Presidium on Friday, 7 March.

Prof.Dr Dr.h.c. Klaus Mainzer

was elected for a further term of office as President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (EASA).

The following candidates were elected to the Presidium as Vice Presidents:

Prof Dr Kristin de Troyer, Professor of Old Testament /Hebrew Bible
Paris Lodron University Salzburg, Austria; Honorary Professor of Hebrew Bible
University of St Andrews, Scotland, UK; Distinguished Fellow of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem; Seymour Gitin Distinguished Professorship (2025-2026) at the W.F. Albright Institute of Archaeological Research in Jerusalem. Secretary of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts

Prof Ioannis Liritzis PhD, AMEU Maribor; SCUT Guangzhou, Henan Univ., Prof. h.c. mult. of NPU Xi’an, Rhodes Univ., Samara State Inst. Culture.

and Prof Dr Verica Trstenjak , professor for European Union law in Vienna (Austria) and Ljubljana (Slovenia) and former judge and advocate general at the Court of Justice of the EU in Luxemburg.
