This is a traditional top-level annual national scientific meeting covering all research disciplines in physics, with some distinguished guests from abroad (30%). In a sense, it is a fine collection of talks on the physics colloquium level. This scientific structure has been widely and greatly appreciated, also internationally. Although the meeting is a national meeting, with prominent international participation, all talks are delivered in English. The lectures are on the general colloquium level rather than on the level of a specialized seminar.
