CONFERENCE TOWARDS AGI

Despite all the crises, wars and controversies in the world, artificial intelligence (AI) continues to drive scientific and social progress with undiminished dynamics. A country’s independence, competitiveness and prosperity depend crucially on the level of development of AI. This is met with great enthusiasm (particularly in Asia and the USA as leading AI centers), but also with fears and concerns (especially in Europe). Even the Pope has dedicated his first encyclical to the subject of AI. The European Academy has been addressing this topic for many years and is offering on 14th October 2026 an online conference featuring leading members of the Academy and beyond.
