RATIONALE AND OBJECTIVES
The evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) represents one of the most complex and fascinating challenges for contemporary medicine. From decision support systems to advanced diagnostics, from the organisation of clinical pathways to the management of professional responsibilities , the introduction of AI into healthcare practice, will profoundly change the paradigm of care, the role of healthcare professionals and, ultimately, the doctor-patient relationship
The seminar “Artificial Intelligence and New Clinical Policy” was created with the aim of exploring, from an integrated and critical perspective, the ethical, legal, organisational and clinical implications of the use of artificial intelligence in the healthcare context. The event brings together experts from different fields: medicine, law, healthcare management, radiology, surgery, gastroenterology and ICT to stimulate a concrete and future-oriented debate.
