8th STOA- STS FORUM EU REGIONAL CONFERENCE

The conference, entitled: "EU-Japan Cooperation in the Areas of Quantum and AI" aims to foster a constructive exchange of views among leading personalities from the fields of science, technology, and policy. The conference will focus on the partnership between EU and Japan, in which further cooperation on core technologies, such as AI and quantum technologies, was agreed. Through two discussion panels, the conference will provide a comprehensive perspective on the topics, with Panel 1 examining the political and strategic implications of EU-Japan cooperation, and Panel 2 offering a practitioner's viewpoint, highlighting the potential applications, benefits, and best practices of collaborative initiatives in these fields.
