2022 International Meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature

The 2022 meeting kicks off an initiative in SBL to advance the collaborations of biblical studies across the academy. We hope the opening session will speak to some of the opportunities as scholarship and the academy recognize the need for intentional interdisciplinary work outside of our siloed specializations. Our work, whether as humanists, social scientists, or scientists, naturally asks questions that are deeply social and human.
