Juelich - Aachen Neuromorphic Computing Day
Date: 25.05.2022
Neuromorphic Computing Day of the BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research)
-future cluster NeuroSys
Keynote Speaker and Moderation of the Panel Discussion:
Klaus Mainzer, Advisory Board of future cluster NeuroSys and President of the EASA
Content: Conventional (von-Neumann) computers only simulate brain functions with considerable energy consumption and thus pollute the environment. Neuromorphic computing physically and chemically replicates brain structures with less energy consumption, there is a considerable increase in efficiency and it is also environmentally friendly.
