Pandemic Perspectives: Reflections on the Consequences of COVID-19
Date: 18.09.2021
Organization: Andreas Oennerfors (Dean Class I)
PROGRAM: Pandemic Perspectives September 18
One initiative by our member Gregor Thuswaldner, Professor of World Languages & Cultures at Whitworth University, USA deserves particular attention. Together with other universities, the largest reading group devoted to Dante is launched now in September: https://100daysofdante.com
Don’t hesitate to sign up and participate and to let colleagues and students know about the event.
Together with my Vice-Dean, professor Boštjan Marko Turk, we have considered how we can optimize outreach of our events. We have identified a partner in ‘Lux Europaea’ a newly started initiative for creating platforms for intellectual encounters in Europe.
Please see https://www.facebook.com/LuxEuropaea and www.lux-europaea.world (under development) for more information. The initiator of Lux Europaea, David Chichinadze invites you also to subscribe to its YouTube channel http://tiny.cc/dvriuz, where recordings of this and all future events will be available for your easier review.
